Title: worst morning ever

i wake up at like 4:30 from disturbing sex dreams

i find that the light is burnt out

fumbling around for a new bulb, i drop one and then have to clean up broken glass half-asleep in the semidark

anyway it turns out that the problem is the lamp rather than the bulb

so i sit around thinking in the dark for an hour or so, and after that my morning shower failed to do anything for me

let's see if coffee and cigarettes work

difficult to describe why the sex dreams were disturbing. i don't know -- the physical clumsiness associated with dreams, people shifting identity weirdly, false awakenings in strange rooms. either you've had dreams like that or you haven't

in any case the all-purpose remedy worked: coffee, cigarettes, and reading 70 or 80 pages of a good book

Sort of , the real TVCxperience would have involved some form of vomiting or at least a toilet tantrum. Also, more Advil.
