I've played much of this before but it still freaks me out. Project Origin better be as freaky!

You have a mech in Project Origin, so I don't see how that can be scary.

Then again, having your mech shutdown in the middle of battle and watching enemies slowly walk towards you could be great.

As much as I love FEAR, their scary bits are pretty hamfisted. They try their best to do the whole jhorror thing, and bless their hearts they've clearly got the details down, but whatever it is that makes that kind of stuff actually scary... the don't got it.

Maf, did you try the 1st expansion?  It's actually pretty good.

I grabbed the 360 expansion game, which has both. People poo poo it but I want more BLOWIN UP SHIT

Why the 360 version?  It should run better on your PC although the 360 version (judging from the demo) seemed to have less hitching.

Wow another person who played the 360 expansions!  The first one was okay, but the second was pretty bad.  They tried to do some outdoor stuff that made the engine do things it shouldn't have tried.  Some of the cars on the road looked straight out of Max Payne.

My confidence in these guys is a bit shaken after Condemned 2  :-\

I've given up intense PC gaming until I get a better chair, and the 360 version runs and looks fine.

Jesus, they coulda given out a few more meaningful achievements. I had to do 4 levels to get one, after getting 2 for the first two levels. ARghghhg. Some of the multiplayers ones are ridiculous haha. How long did they think people would be playing it.

I need a better table.  Any tips on where to find one? Current desk is too high and barely wide enough for my KB+M setup.

Nah, im using an old butcher block desk that's probably only a few months from collapsing. Im not the best person to ask haha.

I don't know, i always felt king of the hill, if some bitch came torwards me i knew my gun would handle any shit.

I believe they did it better in Condemned.

I dunno some parts of Level 6 and 7 were a pain in the ass. Your gun doesnt do shit against the fukin robots so you have to lure it near shit that explodes or use your precious demo items :( Even the ultra soldier guys are a big ol pain in the ass.

I try to challenge myself in FEAR by not using any slowmo.  It's really tough though.

Yup, there's a no death one, no booster one, it gets pretty crazy, considering how long the game is
