With my limited Slayers viewing (okay, maybe not completely limited, but I haven't started the 3rd season yet, been keeping up with the new one though), I agree.

Amelia is pretty damned awesome, tho there's a distinct change between S1 and S2/3/4 Amelia, but I think it plays off of Lina a lot better anyway.

Still, the almost stupid Amelia in S1 is awesome.

Possible, but the one-two punch of Lina and Naga is a force that cannot be withstood.

I'll give you that, mostly because Lina and Naga work best alone. Keep the two groups separate, as it were.

I never watched Slayers before.  In fact, I never actually saw anyone hyping it up before I came to this forum.

It's a classic, but not one that non-anime fans talk about too much.
