I gotta agree, Safari is pretty sick.

It's weird; I use Safari even though I know Firefox is better.   :-\

Interface-wise, Safari and Firefox are pretty much identical.  I'm not sure why you'd bother to pick one over the other. ???

(I don't give a stuff about what goes on in the background).

I am homepage.

That being said I like Safari's copy image address, saves time, but Firefox has the best looking icon and we all know that is what matters.

Some video/flash(?) stuff doesn't seem to work in Safari, unless I missed a plug-in somewhere.

The background question becomes a "foreground" one pretty quickly when the Add-Ons/Extensions come into play. Also, keeping my browsing experience, keyboard shortcuts and all, across Windows/Mac is pretty nice.

I used Safari until FF3 came out, and now FF feels almost as fast as Safari.

Wait, is that like Firefox's copy image location?

exactly the same.

anyone know whatever happened with that cocoa-based browser by some japanese developers?  it was called shiira, i believe.  was a nice attempt (pretty quick to render), but buggy last i saw/used/deleted it.  opera's a good alternative to firefox or safari so long as you can get used to it.

I haven't run into a plug-in problem in Safari or Firefox yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if Firefox is better in that regard.  I imagine Mozilla devotes more resources to that area than Apple since Firefox is their main product.
