MS holding back the web yet again. But for howlong? Will their sneering, lumbering incumbency last a thousand years, or a mere decade if not less? Will the twin supremacy of FF3 and Opera9 rise to channel a double kamehameha wave through IE8beta's precious crotch before it has the chance to spread its vile seed?
Stay tuned for more!

:bow :bow :bow ie7 :bow2 :bow2 :bow2
clearly you are a filthy browser n00b
-
Can we leper this tard. Your threads suck.
-
Oh, so you like the Wii, Prole?
-
Bets on how old this guy is? Going on 15 here.

I use both, so maybe this isn't such a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow comparison.
-
FF3 is pretty hot and stable but i still use IE7+ie7pro.
-
IE7 is still pretty bad in my experience, the interface is still no good and performance is bad even when I only have a hundred or so tabs open. I don't have anything against Microsoft software in general (Visual Studio and .NET are quite nice, even if I'd rather code in Emacs), IE is just crap.

Opera > FF

Oh, grow up. (http://www.apple.com/safari/download/)
There's only one real browser.

my sentiments exactly

Wii has Opera, the very idea that it can be equated with any version of IE is laughable
IE haters suck balls though. IE6 I grant, is fucking terrible compared to IE7 and the other browsers. I've been making a site recently and trying to ensure compatability with all the latest versions of each browser, and all of them have given me problems at some time or another.
Firefox wins for performance though. And testing all three like that made FF3 my current browser of choice. Plus I fucking love Firebug. Whats this canvas shit about?

basically canvas represents the reality that mozilla is *helping* IE browser make less headaches for web designers through a plug-in. Because MS won't do it.
MS hates open standards or heck, any standards, because apparently it benefits groups like mozilla or the internet user in general but not *gasp* M$ itself.
my analogy is merely that IE, its anti-developer stance, and its immense popularity is holding back the progress of teh internet. Hench its 'wiiness.'
meanwhile, FF excels through addons, contributions, and plugins by both mozilla and 3rd parties, so that YOU decide your internet experience. Sorta like PC, its user-oriented structure, its openness, and the user-made 'mods' that go along with it.
entiende?

IE blows, Firefox blows (except for Firebug). Webkit / Safari is the new hotness, all hail Webkit.
