I'm having a serious debate right now on heading in to town to pick it up. I'm still not sure if I'm sold on using the sticks for attacking.
How would you rate the achievement difficulty so far?

Works fine, you get in the motion of fighting easily. If you get a fast combo going, you blaze around even quicker.
this is all an elaborate trap concocted by demi and tvc to get me to the buy the game, so they can laugh laterIf you've played the demo then you know better.
You know, as long as you and all other characters stand perfectly still, the game isn't all that ugly. But then I wouldn't put it past Dyack to put the best looking area in the demo. I also don't get the camera deal. It's a fixed camera, I get that, but this doesn't mesh very well with the many camera options.
WTF are you doing playing this?
i went to aki hoping to buy this masterpiece
unfortunately, it wasn't there - i was tempted by Madden 09 for a mere $180

unfortunately, it wasn't there - i was tempted by Madden 09 for a mere $180 or even Wii Fit for a pocket friendly $280 (import versions of course)
Still, it matters not, for now i have Too Human and tonight i shall drunkenly try to play it whilst stuffing my face with a full family size pizza and consume an inappropriate amount of Black Nikka.
Is Berzerker easy to play as? I think TVC is playing a Zerker
Some helmets dont have a graphic... I had one like that
Do you get an achievement for that?
What is the story like?
To get this out of the way: it was kind of distinguished mentally-challenged for SK to try to cram an actual story into this game. There's like 15 minutes of boredom after the first dungeon as you walk around Aesir and watch cutscenes. This sort of storytelling really doesn't fly with games that are basically twitchers. For all the yapping that Silicon Nights did about the story, it's kind of surprising that the game has probably less than an hour's worth of cutscenes. It seems painfully clear that at some point, they were forced to cut a lot of content out of this game just to get it out the door. It probably happened when they realized UE3 wasn't going to work. What actually wound up in the final product doesn't seem too substantial, and as you said a lot of it doesn't make any sense if you don't already know the Norse legends. Why did Baldur end up in Helheim instead of Valhalla? What is this bizarre demon that Hel has summoned into the world? What's Loki's goal/purpose/motivation?
Is anyone playing with the HUD off? I just noticed this in the manual

But judging the story on its own, even if it were, well, wedded to gameplay that supported it, it's not bad. It's not nifty like Eternal Darkness or Legacy of Kain, but it has its charms. There are some howlers of dialogue, although most of the really bad lines seem to be in the incidental in-game dialogue. One of the problems is that the game dumps you right in without doing any setup or exposition so you know what's going on. If you've read a bit of Norse mythology, you'll catch up quickly. The voice acting is good around the board. Silicon Knights seems to always do well with voice acting. Well, again, some of the incidental stuff is iffy, but nothing too terrible.
But no, so far it doesn't live up to Dyack's lofty noodlings on narrative or anything like that.
Not really any different than PSU/PSO
I just hit 50, still no Red loot

You hit 50 without much co-op at all? The level 30+ dungeons are such a nightmare, I can't imagine doing them without someone helping you. I mean, it can certainly be done but I don't think it'd be any fun.
I just beat the ice forest. If the rest of this game is anything like that level, I'll never play it again. SWEET JESUS at the boss battle. Some of the most tedious shit I have ever done.
So the game is 4 levels long and one of them brutally sucks?
Need a co-op partner for the Teamwork achievement... sign up here so we can do a Hall of Heroes run (shortest level)
Well if you like dying a lot it should be fine. I think it scales to the highest level. Or maybe it's just the host.
The Boss in lvl 2 wasnt that bad. Its the shitty Hammer Troll, Grenate Troll, Spider, and trash mob packs. The Spider is maybe the shityest mob in the game with that unblockable knock down attack. Who the fuck playtested that?
Anyways where do you get the charm quests?
Just finished the Ice forest and you guys weren't kidding. If I didn't already know that the next 2 levels were better, I probably would have returned this game by now. Are the spiders that everyone is complaining about the ones that use a bow?
What do you mean, frame rate? Lag?God I wish this game had 4 player co-op. How awesome would it be to play with 3 other EBers.
Have you played any co-op?
its glitchy as shit with 2 people.
Just beat the game as a Commando. Level 27 and 7 hours. I think I'll make a champion for a Human playthrough.

7 hours? Did you not mess around with anything?
tvc bought this for me <3 <3 <3This is a bizarre troll ???
first impressions ain't great, but the LOOT seems to be there, which guarantees i'll play through it. the character modeling makes halo 3 look like mgs4
OMG I might play Too Human with DENIS DYACK!!!! :omg
:lol
Actually, now that I've got the hang of it, I'm liking it more and more. And demi, let me know if you got the "red armor" thing worked out, because I think I almost have a complete set of it.
There's no way you have a complete red set already. You're probably thinking orange
I just traded a guy a complete Cybernetic Defender set for a 1600 point card
wooooooooooo
Time to get that chievement baby
why is so fucking hard to kill the big ass robots? i take half their health away and then continue to smack the shit out of them and no damage is being done.Do a finisher right in their face while in the air, then run around behind them to initiate the balance mini-game. If done properly, this will only take 5 seconds.
what in the fucking fuck.
what did baldur think happened to him before the start of the game? and how was loki able to do shit while imprisoned?
