Title: Can I just hook up an external HD to my 360?

Because that little 10 gigger ain't cuttin' it, what with the DLC and all. And the prices MS charges for HardDrives are obscene.

Why are you strapped for space? You can re-download stuff.

I'm just getting a lot of Rock Band stuff and it adds up quick. They're like 100+mb a pop.

If you try to hack your HDD, you'll get booted off Live asap

Your only choice is upgrading the drive, and even then you are screwed because some saves are DRM'd and can't be transfered.

well, allowing executables on external drives would potentially make it easier to pirate things.
