I've never swam and consumed so much alcohol in my life. I went five 12-packs of Corona, five bottles of Patron, one bottle of Captain Morgan and miscellaneous alcohol (wine, pre-made magaritas, etc.) strong this week.
I had the best sashimi I've ever had this week, though. It was so fuckin' good. And in North Carolina of all places.

North Carolina is seriously underrated. Glad you had a good time, we have wonderful seafood on our coast.
-
I've only ever been in the Wilmington area. I thought it was nice enough, but I wouldn't be able to deal with heat like that regularly.
-
Tet, I've eaten a lot of sushi - and this tuna was some of the best I've ever had! For something I thought would be an upscale tourist trap, I was pleasantly surprised.
TVC, the Outer Banks is pretty tolerable. It got over 90 degrees on just one day and the nights were cool enough for a hoodie. Most of the rental properties are outfitted with enough air conditioning to turn the units into a freezer and an outdoor pool to boot. Plus, the ocean water temp was great.

sounds like me in July.*
(substitute patron/cap'n morgan for Vodka)

Vodka is the only thing that can really make me sick, so I steer clear of it.
