Playing this online wouldn't be the same experience as playing against a person face to face on an arcade cabinet.it wouldn't even be the same game. online in fighting games is worthless.
I'm just saying here that you probably don't want to be getting that SF4 360 Arcade stick. Just get a Hori one for the 360.
Well, im glad im not the ONLY one eat crow about this game :/
I'm just saying here that you probably don't want to be getting that SF4 360 Arcade stick. Just get a quality adapter for your PS2 stick and play on PS3.fixed
I'll get stoned (or crucified) for saying this, but after playing on some arcade sticks and quality d-pads, I've come to the conclusion that unless I'm playing on an actual arcade cab: I prefer analog sticks over anything else.
It sounds like golfland is getting this, but the competition there is too fierce :'(
Hopefully, Chinatown Fair will get one. Those guys are no joke.
capcom played it safe. It really is Street Fighter 2 Turbo Plus or whatever. But for some reason I don't give a shit. I haven't played a new 2d fighter in years.
When's the Japanese release? I wanna import the PS3 version. :hyper

I wouldn't be surprised if it hits in December of this year.
But this is Capcom USA's game sorta-kinda, so maybe it will hit the U.S. first? And maybe SF2 HD Remix will be out by then. MAYBE. :lol
No, it's not. It feels more like a cross between Super Turbo and Third Strike, minus parries and with the revenge system added in place of them. You can still do EX attacks as well, which can be particularly SICK with certain characters (Zangief's SPD and Chun-Li's lighting leg and SBK, HOLY SHIT).
Really what lessens the excitement for this game is its roster. It's the original 12 "same ol'" characters (with some new normal attacks), plus four new ones that just don't compare. I think Abel is really cool, and C. Viper is okay design-wise, but El Fuerte and Rufus just suck. Most of the time I play, it's against Ryu users doing the same old shit combined with the revenge tactics (this can really change up the game play) and ultras.
I love the game, but frankly all the other new fighters that came out/are coming out this year are more exciting. I am looking more forward to Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, and much more so than that, KOF XII. SF4 is great but needed more new faces.
Yeah, Chinatown Fair got a machine. From what I've heard, expect to wait at least an hour for your next match if you lose, there's a signup list that keeps track of that stuff.
Only older people play SF4, no young kids.
Karaoke Rebellion ???
There is an arcade with a SF4 cabinet near where I live. Maybe I'll check it out sometime next week.
