Aside from 00 and the new ova? Or was it a movie?
-
I think the more important question is: "What is Distantmantra doing for Gundam's 30th anniversary?".
-
the answer to your question, maf, is this: NSFW
-
Gundam doesnt go up there!
-
maybe, but zeon isn't afraid of a little stinkdick!
-
I've played all of the Official Mode missions! That mission doesnt exist!
-
it's in the "expansion"
get it
"expansion"
no doubt mrs. mantra doesn't find that joke funny, since she'll be the one in the char costume

Yeah... soo... Mrs. Distant and I were a little occupied. :-[ No Gundams were involved.
The 30th anniversary of the original Mobile Suit Gundam is approaching, but we haven't heard much. 00 season two and the MS Igloo 2 OVA are all that's in the pipeline at the moment. That Gundam SEED theatrical movie is supposedly still in the works, but we haven't heard anything substantial about in a long time.
For the 20th anniversary, dubbed The Big Bang Project, we got Turn A on TV, the G Saviour movie and Char's Counterattack for the Playstation.
For the 25th anniversary, the Zeta movie trilogy was announced, and there were Pepsi bottlecap toppers in Japan and Gundam SEED Destiny was on TBS in Japan.
The 30th needs to be awesome.

HIMURO! Respond, dammit! Your Gundamfag Emperor commands you to!

Are there any good diecast Gundam models? I messed around with my friend's Turn A Gundam. It was pretty cool but my friend said a lot of people complained about it being too fragile.

There are a few Gundam Fix Figuration Metal Composite figures, but they're not cheap. Like, $150+ for a little figure.
A GFF Metal Composite Zeta Plus is coming soon. It's going rock your asses.

That looks pretty cool. I'm sure my friend has it. The dude has like $20,000 worth of robot toys.
Do they have one for the one with the fins on the back(Nu Gundam, I think)? It's my favorite one.

Nope, I don't have a ton of Gundam toys, actually. They clutter up the house and don't go well with our design aesthetic. I have a Master Grade gold plated Hyaku Shiki, a Master Grade Zeta Plus, a Master Grade Ground Gundam, and a Perfect Grade Zeta Gundam model up in the den.
-
All I have is a big, old head of the original Gundam. :lol
It's amazingly detailed but I still don't know WTF someone would think that would make a good present. I"ll post a pic when I have time.
-
I also have a bunch of MSIA figures (0079, SEED, SEED Destiny and 00) in my office at work.
And yes, there is a GFF of the Nu-Gundam.
-
I have to get back into Gundam model building. I used to be big into it, and but the only one I still have in my room is my perfect grade rx-78-2
-
Holy crap, this dude is possibly more nuts than my friend. What's the bigass one, Distant?

Did they make a Perfect Grade Nu Gundam? hot damn, I have been out of this for too long. Is there a Perfect Grade Gundam Alex?
-
I wonder if that's the MG Nu Gundam. I can't get a sense of scale with that picture.

They're fun to build, but I don't have anywhere to put them in the house without totally killing the flow of the place, and our den already has enough Gundam with three MGs and a PG. I think I'd give my understanding wife a heart attack if the robots left the den.

Kouryakukan reports in one of their lastest postings (Gundam Ace Part II posting) that the 30th anniversary Gundam will be a “surprise project” when they announce what it’ll be in the spring of 2009 after the second season of Gundam 00 ends its run. Gundam|News will keep on top of the news and information as it becomes available.
