Title: if i liked scryed, what other anime would you recommend me?

I saw an appreciation thread for it here a couple weeks ago and decided to try it. it's the greatest thing ever. is there more anime like it?

G Gundam

It is basically Scryed, except instead of having an alter, they have a Gundam.

i'm not a fan of gundam based on the little i saw of wing and this one being so old makes me worry. the tournament idea doesn't seem very promising either. still, i think i'll give it a try since scryed was so good. if i like it, you have my thanks. if i don't, i'll piss on yer username!

I was going to counter by posting a youtube video of the overly sexualized way that Rain gets suited up for battle, but I was too surprised that there were over 8 different versions of that video.

Chrono Trigger fans are so lame. Its a shame the games getting a re-release. They'll be all YAY I LOVE PAYING FOR THIS SHIT GAME AGAIN YEAHHH!

Toriyama sucks. Doesnt stop the game from being one of the best rpgs. I guess if it was Lolicon demon "srpger"  published by Atlus it would be more popular around these parts.

But its irrelevant to the fact that Scryed and the rest of the Gundam Seed like abortions suck. Go watch some good anime.

i didn't watch any gundam or scryed but from the picture posted, sounds like seed and scryed share the same artist.

and grecco, no offense but professor and maf watch a lot of good anime, i don't think you need to tell them that.

Gundam Seed isn't like Scryed at all.  They have the same artist, but it does seem like he got carpal tunnel between the shows.

If you like that awfull art, just skip Gundam Seed and watch Code Geass instead. Same art, better everything else.

Scryed is fairly unique. Even other anime that focus on a rivalry dont quite match the animal focus displayed in Scryed, unfortunately. I own 20-30 other anime series and I cant think of anything close.

Other anime you may like: Last Exile, Samurai Champloo (has a rivalry ;)), Fullmetal Alchemist, Scrapped Princess (trust me on this one, its great)

Gundam Seed's art > Code Geass. Gundam Seed didnt have any awful CLAMP taint.
