...and YouTube, and soon Netflix, and other stuff too. All through your networked PS3 or 360

I just tried it out and it's pretty much today's best thing ever

I tried both this and Tversity today.  I couldn't get playon to stream files from my pc which is what I wanted more than streaming from the net.  Tversity does this but it's really slow and needs to load every couple of mins.   :(  I really just wish Microsoft would open up to more formats.  It would make the 360 actually useful as a media hub.

Of course then they would lose a lot of money for their on demand movie service. Bastards.

What types of files? I'm able to stream most of my videos (i've been doing it through media sharing for a while). WMC blows.

Whats media sharing?  I thought the only ways to do this where though Media center which I don't have or though some thing on windows media player but it only works fro .wmv files.

.avi and .flv mostly are what I want.  and something that doesn't take forever to load and buffer so I can watch Atlantis on the tv with out pauses.

There is no version of Flash 9 for consoles.  I'm sure if there were, Hulu and YouTube would already have apps on both systems.

avi is just the shell i believe so the actually encoding is still the same.  there are plenty that of apps that will re encode them in a few minutes and it will work fine.

Microsoft apologist.

How am I apologizing for MS?  Adobe makes Flash 9.  They don't make versions for PPC-derived processors, so neither Sony or MS can run flash on their respective consoles.  Arvie = distinguished mentally-challenged fellow.

Like I'm going to believe an apologist, apologist.

So, what, am I also an apologist for Sony then, too?  Who am I not apologizing for?  All I am saying is that MS and Sony have no say in this at the moment since Adobe, a third party, needs to develop the component before MS or Sony could implement it.

First thing an apologist does is ask who they are apologizing for and then go on to apologize.  We all know Microsoft is keeping flash off of 360 because they want to sell me their porn though the video store instead of having me steal it, pornographer.

everything I open like "Featured Films" it says "no files" or some shit.  And I opened up the playon settings and it tells me to input my license key and shit to connect to sharing devices.  what the fuck?
