Sorry to be negative nancy, but my opinion is to get an extended warranty or buy as cheap a TV as possible.  TVs are built to a price nowadays rather than a quality standard, often have many faults that many users discover but the manufacturer refuses to acknowledge, and the after-sales service often means a fight if there's a problem.

In terms of the TVs themselves, I don't have first hand experience with these three.

I've had 2 Samsungs- An LCD and a Plasma- and they;ve both been perfect. The LCD is about 2 years old and no issue, the Plasma is about 2 months old, no issues. They look great, menus are nice, good out-of-the-box set up. Wonderful.
