Title: So it looks like I'm gonna get hit with a Hurricane later this week

Currently, Tropical Storm Hanna is predicted to make landfall early Saturday morning right smack dab on Wilmington, NC.  Fortunately it's only expected to be a Category 1 when it hits, but considering that I'm right on the frickin beach I'm sure it's gonna suck balls.

I'm taking the two Newfoundlands (big ass dogs) to a boarding facility 120 miles inland tomorrow, then coming home and plan on riding the storm out.  So, from late Friday until whenever the lights come back on, I'll be out of commission.  Pray to Richard Dawkins for me and the two smaller dogs that will be staying at the beach, we're boarding up the windows tomorrow when I get back.

Sucks for coastal communities. But us inlanders need the rain, so bring it on. Hopefully it brings a nice soaking to the piedmont.

Hope you end up ok man. Riding out hurricanes sucks ass trust me

Do you have a GBA, PSP or DS it becomes godly when your out of power for a couple days

I've got a DS and some books to read, I should be ok if I'm without power for a while.

Now, Hurricane Ike can rightly buzz off. 115 MPH and getting stronger, following in Hannah's footsteps?

Yeah, but it's gonna hit Florida probably.  Florida deserves it.

New Orleans managed to survive Gustav, but maybe Ike can finish the fight.

There's nothing worse than hugging a dirty toilet bowl so take some time to clean it before the cyclone hits.
