I spend almost 5 nights a week with my girlfriend and I love her, but one thing I absolutely detest is talking on the phone past the 3-4 minute mark. A usual day will consist a phone call in the morning one in the afternoon and one before bed. As you can see they are close together and not much exciting shit happens in between.
Example
Her: Hi
Me: Hi Babe, how is your day?
Her: Oh it was good I got up took a shower and then played with my cat and read.
Me: cool
Her: How was your day?
Me: I'm at work, I ate PB&J for lunch
Her: Cool
Me: Yeah cool
Her:...
Me:...
Her:Well I guess I'll go (in an awkward voice)
Me: Ok.. (Feeling bad)
All of this usually while I am trying to do something else in real life. What gets me is her lack of initiative to actually have a conversation while at the same time complaining that the conversations never goes anywhere. No, I could care less if we dont talk until we see each other that night, but at the same time I fucking hate it when she makes me feel guilty. And the guilt is impossible to avoid.
Are there guys out there that talk over the phone for hours or some shit? WTF I dont need to know how many times your cat played with the mouse and I dont really want to talk about mundane shit for more than 4 minutes on he phone. If something mundane happens to you and Im on the phone Im going to feign enthusiasm. If something really is interesting than I will genuinely appreciate it. But that is rare.

I fuck her brains out in person. I cant giver her a deep dicking over the phone. :lol
But she does love to talk dirty over the phone and AIm but its not really my thing.

i just hate talking on the phone in general. i'm not very good at doing two things at once, so i have to devote my full attention to the conversation. this gets boring real fast, especially if i'm in the middle of something. problem is, my frustration and anger starts showing through as the conversations go on. i've gotten into so many fights with my girlfriend over nothing just because i want to get off of the phone. i wish my simple brain could handle multitasking.

Eew, text messaging, I hate it when girls try to carry on a conversation in text messaging. This is usually the 22 and under crowd that does this. Just pick up the phone and call, damnit, if you really want to have a convo.

I'm starting to like text messaging because you don't have to start anything approximating a conversation. You give/receive what information is necessary and that's it (plus, I only have 300 minutes of call-time on my wireless plan whereas I have unlimited texting).

I hate talking to ANYONE on the phone. But women are usually the worst and just want to chat about the banal details of their day to day life. I'm sorry, I don't want to hear about that shit. Did you do something incredible or do you want to make plans? Those are reasons to talk on the phone. Hearing about your cramps is not, sorry ladies.

You make them happy and all you need to do is "Yeah, oohh, really? Then what?" between every 2/3 mins.

Yup, I fucking hate it too. You talk once a month when you're friends, but as soon as they open their legs you're suddenly expected to talk every day about banal shit.
Being single definitely has its perks.

I get a masochistic thrill from sending long text messages with correct and sophisticated punctuation I've written on a numeric keypad. I use triple dashes, semicolons, ellipses, even nested parentheses.
