Space Channel 5 Part III featuring Space Britney and the epic return of Space Michael.

I'll be buying it at launch.

If Dreamcast was half as good as people remember it to be, it might have lasted an extra 6 months on the market. What a worthless console with worthless fans.

For me, it was the last time a launch platform had a significant enough graphical jump to make me go "OOOH!'.

I don't want a Dreamcast 2 anymore.  Sega has proven that they can barely put out capable games, so a new system and new games doesn't seem like the right step for them.  And I actually just ordered a VGA adapter to play some Dreamcast on my PC monitor (I only had RF cables before) and a new non-shit controller.  Probably going to play through Gundam Side Story at one point next week.

Arcade Sega = Still rockin'

Home Sega =  :'(

Also please, please, PLEASE.  PLEASE.  PLEASE take a damn break from churning out shitty Sonic after shitty Sonic game.  Take some time to plan out a really kick-ass title.  Lose the stupid gimmicks.  Lose the friends.  Lose all the bullshit.  Just make a good goddamn platformer.

Also Gunbird 2, Gigawing 1-2, Cannon Spike, Powerstone 1-2, Street Fighter III (holy shit Capcom was on fire), Bangai-O and the first ever arcade perfect SNK games released outside of the Neo Geo (fucking Mark of the Wolves, Fuck Yeah!).  Oh yeah, and all of them were released at lower tier price points or were soon available for cheap.  A guy could build an awesome Dreamcast library for less then the (still cheap) cost of the system itself.

The Dreamcast was indeed so frigging good.  So frigging good.

Capcom was a big reason, but all my favorite games on the system were probably Sega made games.  They really made some amazing games for the system before it died off.

It was also the original console to have SlimeYourRuga (Ikaruga).  :bow

The Dreamcast is my second favorite console ever (PS2=First).

Yeah, and the Wii is the best console ever because it's so popular.

The Dreamcast is the only Sega console I have ever owned, it was just that good that I had to get it.

They weren't arcade-perfect though.   :-\  MOTW's issue was from its messed up audio issues, which got corrected in the PS2 version.  Last Blade 2 was missing some visual effects.  Weird stuff that was missing.

My favorite fanboy bitch-fest for was Third Strike though.  People fucking LOVED it on DC for like two years, then all of a sudden it wasn't good enough because it was missing 2-3 frames for like two characters and was based on a newer arcade revision, so a few things were gone.  If you were a hardcore arcade player I can understand, but most of the people whining never left their parents' basements houses.

MOTW's streaming of every single piece of fucking audio was killing my dreamcast in front of me.

You sure you want to do that?  The game felted dated as hell back when it was released, I can't imagine it would be even remotely playable by todays standards.

I still consider it one of the best Gundam games, so yeah.  I also want to give another run through Maken X.  Unique FPS games with bizarre controls on the Dreamcast are awesome.
