I have been playing:
-Samurai Shodown II (360 XBLA): Got a few achievements and hit over 50 wins in ranked so far. It's fun but the game being as unbalanced as it is, you tend to always see the same few characters over and over again.
-Musou Orochi Maou Saorin (360): Just finished the Wei campaign tonight; got Son Goku (Sun Wu-Kong) when I beat it! It's slowdown city, but fun fun fun.
-Soul Calibur IV (360): Still trying to catch up to my achievements in the PS3 version. STILL don't have as many custom character parts unlocked as on PS3, even though I have spent more time with it and am ranked higher in the 360 version. ???
-KOF '98 Ultimate Match (PS2): Working on improving my Kasumi game. Athena too; she is too damn good not to use.
Loser of the week- Mercenaries 2. Can't seem to get into it now, I dunno. Guess I'll give it another go.

Madden 09 PS3. Just finishing my second pre-season. It's fuck awesome. I've played every Madden since the beginning and this is the best and most realistic by far.

Unlocked Nouhime in SB2 last night and played through her entire Unification mode. :lol God, she rocks with the guns. She's totally broken, what with her launcher and endlessly-juggling pistols, and her triangle special that lets her strafe indefinitely, but she's so much fun, and she plays COMPLETELY differently from the other characters.
Tadakatsu Honda is pretty terrifying. He's got to be the game's Lu Bu. I only got rid of him by spamming musous -- I mean basaras.

I'm still pissed off that Capcom doesn't seem to be bringing Sengoku Basara 2 or Heroes over to the states. I would take them on the Wii at this point.

desperately trying to finish up Bionic Commando Rearmed, I cant put this fucker down :-\ Up to the albatross on super hard, getting there, bu still have trouble with the 'lights out' pit of doom. As always need more practice. Once I get Elite Commando I'll have 200/200 and I can forget about this game and get back to Infinite Undiscovery
oh and modding my Saturn and playing RSG hopefully
I want to play more Saints Row, but my xbox keeps crashing with this game :(

two laps on a short track, choice of three vehicles -- it's actually pretty stingy as demos go. and there's nothing terribly impressive about it either. but motorstorm is fun as fuck

I'd say it is better than the first Motorstorm demo. The contrast between the motorcycle and the monster truck are huge and gives you an idea of both polar opposite ways to race.

You know, I never used Nouhime much, but I read somewhere that one of her outfits (or weapons, not sure which) can be equipped and will completely CHANGE her playstyle, giving her brand new attack! :o
EDIT: It's an item; changes her square attacks into melee attacks!

Caught up in the 360 SCIV to where I am in the PS3 version. Now I guess I can go back to PS3; distinguished mentally-challenged fellows are still out in full force on Live. It really is only U.S. players that trash-talk or say stupid comments when they lose. Forget the connection; if I hear incoherent babbling or they hit your downed character over and over again at the end of the round, I know they are from the homeland. :P My favorites are the higher-ranked players that don't do any of that, but then throw in a "that's so cheesy! I can beat that!" or "you can't play at all" when it's over. HEY distinguished mentally-challenged fellows, *YOU LOST*, NOT ME!
Of course at the same time, it's fun to mess with the more reserved, quiet Japanese/Korean players. They don't trash talk or do the hit-after-the-match stuff, but sometimes you will get someone who taunts you. You can then reverse it and piss these guy off by taunt-canceling (just taunt over and over) at the end of the next round. Drives 'em NUTS. They may not speak, but you can tell when they suddenly get 10 times more aggressive. :lol

I don't have the time for this shit either but I'm still plugging away. I picked it up again today after not touching it since Monday and it took me a little bit to remember just what the fuck was going on. Luckily the story is so dumb that it doesn't really matter in the end.

Hold on playing The Witcher for a few more weeks. The enhanced version patch is coming soon and it will fix a lot of the game (not that it needed fixing, but they felt to need to keep improving it.)

The head start for the CE preorders starts tomorrow (and both my wife and I have preorders for the CE and are ready to go), very happy with how the game has shaped up over the last month or so. The PvP mechanics and design in the game is tremendous and I am really looking forward to controlling my election anxiety with the blissful throes of MMO addiction.

Wow, I was really behind in the PS3 SCIV. It got patched, too! :o They fixed some stuff and changed up some move priorities. On XBL I am level 26 now, on PS3 I was at 18, so I worked up to 20. Just one more honor left to unlock and I'll have 30, which I believe then unlocks all the custom parts...

Krap, but if you liked the demo, then maybe you should get it. I am done with that dev's games, especially after Kingdom Under Fire. Just not my cup of tea.
All this talk of beat-em-ups is making me want to play something new. I think it's time to get to (fully playing) Basara 2 HEROES. :D As much as I LOVED Basara 2, I never played much into the story modes in Heroes, just the extra stuff and the free modes.

Is that patch NOT available for the NA PS3 version, or do you mean on 360? Might explain why everyone I have been fighting in the PS3 version has been from Japan.
I have definitely been having better matches in the PS3 version; the people are not scrubs and put up some serious fights! XBL on the other hand has been like a joke.

I have pretty shitty gear but I'm trying to change that by selling tons of leather.
You only want improved fireball if you end up speccing pom/pyro, cause there aren't many instances in PVP where you actually get to fire off a lot of fireballs. In most PVP matches Scorch and Fireblast are your bread and butter.
