Title: So what do you guys think of Coldplay?

Post by: DJ_Tet on September 16, 2008, 11:16:53 PM: I saw them live before their weak third album came out, they were really good live. I was impressed and gained a lot of respect for them. It was especially cool seeing Chris on piano. Their first two albums (especially the second) are really good, and their latest album is solid too (although I only listened to it a couple of times so far.)

If you have the chance to see them live and like them at all, I'd recommend seeing the show.

Well, their first 3 albums do sound really similar, so I think they might be one of those bands where the first record you hear by them is likely to be your favorite.

This, and the singer being married to and having a baby with Gwyneth Paltrow gives two points on the awesomeness scala, which is not too bad these days.
