I watched it for the first time since I was a wee lad yesterday, and I totally appreciate it even more now.

On a technical level the movie is shot well and has good special effects. The each scene...each line, as hilarious as they are, are delivered so professionally and AWESOME.

Another movie that actually holds up is Return to Oz, cause again, kind of fucked up. Flight of the Navigator on the other hand...i'll let that one live in my nostalgia.
