Title: My girlfriend is jealous all the time
Post by: Beardo on September 23, 2008, 01:32:02 PM: Ok i need to ask evlbore's advice on dealing with my girlfriend. She's great and we get along extremely well but lately she has been doing something that really annoys me. She is finishing up her last year at the university. She has a decent internship and doing pretty good for someone who hasn't graduated yet. The problem is that she complains about jealous she is about her friends that have better jobs internships or anything. Lately she got this bug that she wants to move to LA. Well some of her friends are already out there. She keeps telling me "Its not fair that they are out there etc..." But shes still in school. How the fuck can you be jealous when you still have to finish her degree.

It's really annoying, and I cant find a way to deal with her, without being a dick.

SHe would watch E! and shows that basically showed how great other people's lives were and it made her self conscious. How old is your gf?

Shes 22, but she sounds like your wife. She constantly reads those hollywood crap articles and talks about who looks good and who doesn't. Shes also obsessed with angelina.

It's just a phase. SO you might not have to do anything about it. Eventually, she will realize to just enjoy the cards she was dealt in life and be much happier from there.
