Title: Tonight I dine on 80's TV horror nostalgic bliss!

Finally after almost two decades the Friday the 13th TV Series is released to purchase.

I remember when I was a young tyke and anxiously anticipating every Friday night for the latest episode of this series (along with Tales From the Darkside and Monsters). It had no relation to the movies but the idea of a group of people hunting down cursed antiques kept me hooked. Every week a new antique with its own unique ways of execution. My personal favorite being a cursed scarecrow that tracks down and kills anyone whose belongings are pinned to it.

I could never get past the fact that this had nothing to do with Friday the 13th, so I pretty much ignored it.  If it does well though, maybe they will release Freddy's Nightmares.  :D

Kinda funny that the backstory is pretty much the same as Needful Things -- I wonder which came first...

Friday the 13th the series preceded the book by four years and the movie by six.

I used to hide when I saw the Friday the 13th commercials coming on.  :lol
