Title: I'm about to play Perfect Dark Zero, how disappointed am I going to be?

I'm expecting it to be slightly worse than the N64 game. I'm still a little annoyed that she looks like an anime teenager instead of the Mariska Hargitay look she rocked back in the good old days.

If you're making a thread about it I don't think you expect much of it so I doubt you'll actually be disappointed

Singleplayer is terrible, but the multiplayer is a blast. I'll play later you can get a few peeps on

I loved Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. After a week, I traded in Perfect Dark Zero for GRAW.

lower your expectations as far as they'll go
then lower them some more
then brace yourself for the nasty disappointment that pd zero will still manage to be. not even the toshinden effect could make this game halfway playable, and now we're nearly 3 years from launch

I didn't even play Perfect Dark when I was younger and I felt it raped my child hood nostalgia.

it's fun. the aiming sensitivity feels weird at first and you also only get like 50 points for finishing the game on normal but the weapons have a unique and satisfying feel and there are still a lot of people online. it was a well-made game overall but people just got their expectations up way too high when they saw this long-awaited sequel coming in a shiny high quality tin box and ready to sell 360's. most gamers are really fucking idiots when they try to act serious about games (see Kojima). It definitely has problems with the pacing and the graphics in some places but I never really got how it could get so much hate.
