Fuck this extortion.  I hope everyone gets the game or at least the bonus content through "digital distribution".  :punch

I hate when they do this crap, but on the other hand, at least they're not trying to make us pay extra for this "Limited Edition upgrade".

Look at it this way:  the console dirties get the extra missions, the PC people get the acceptable graphics.  Have you seen the console v. PC screenshots on GAF?  It's like a whole nother game.

What's your GPU?  Crysis Warhead at Gamer level is totally better than anything consoles can do.  If you have a card even a smidge better than an 8800 GT, you should be able to do that.

That makes me question the depth and quality of the missions if they want to offer 6 of them free.  :\

I have an 8800GT and I use Very High/Enthusiast settings in DX9 at 1360x768 resolution with fantastic performance (generally between 30-60 fps with slight drops in more intense areas).  The High/Gamer settings run much smoother than that.  It's a great card for a great value right now.

I checked the 360 page, and the same offer for extra missions is there too.  Very lame by UBI.

Oh shit, I forgot about that--but DX10 really does make the game look a ton better, so I'd want to play on that.

Game only runs at 30fps w/DX10, max effects, and 1920x1200 on two overclocked 280GTXes!  I wonder how it'll run with the same settings on a single 8800GT.
