Since the guy is one of the most annoying people I've ever met, I've made it a goal to stay out of my place as much as possible. Coupled with work, school, and a pretty active social life currently, life is great.

I wish I had an annoying person in my life too. :'(

why dont you just get a new roomate?
-
You people ever thought about getting a black roommate? Maybe then you, BrandNew, and PD wouldn't complain so fucking much.

I'm not complaining about my roommate in my thread. He rocks, I get out more thanks to him!

Maybe Brandnew would complain. His cool young dude ass looks like it could be punked around by a black dude.

I had a black roommate my freshman year and I still complained. He was amazingly inconsiderate. My earliest classes were 10 a.m.; his were 8 a.m. EVERY fucking morning he would wake up around 7 o'clock and tune in to Spongebob Squarepants with the TV volume at maximum, and he'd laugh at EVERYTHING really fucking loud. The only thing he did that really annoyed me was ask me where I was going EVERY time I left the dorm room. Usually it was just to take a piss (we had communal bathrooms down the hall), but it's just an example of how up in your business this guy could be. Eventually I'd start saying "Don't worry about it" and he got all offended.
Then I roomed with him again (along with two new guys) in a 4-bedroom apartment my sophomore year -- I figured if we didn't share the same bedroom, all problems would be alleviated. That wasn't the case. This dude did NOTHING in his bedroom (he can't stand being by himself). He'd always bring all his homework and books out onto the kitchen table and leave them there. This wasn't really a problem for me, but sometimes when he was doing homework on the kitchen table I'd be playing video games on the center room TV. He'd tell me to stop playing 'cuz it was distracting him (it was his TV in the center room, so he had control over it, which is exactly what he wanted). Now he had a perfectly good fucking desk in his bedroom, but I didn't have a TV in my own room to play video games on; I told him so and he was a douche about it, pointing out that it was his TV. So the next day another roommate and I moved his TV from the center room to my black roommate's room and my other roommate brought out his OWN TV to place in the center room. Black roommate came back and threw a hissy fit about it all, but in the end he was forced to agree not be a douche.
He's still a great friend, but he was a poor roommate.

Why don't you take a walk to Taco Bell and get some food at the drive-thru?
