Title: This is the second year in a row
Post by: Eel O'Brian on November 23, 2006, 07:33:23 PM
I've had the goddamned flu on Thanksgiving.  It's as if God wants to punish me by showing me the delicious turkey and dressing, but not letting me taste it.  Last year I don't even remember buying my 360, I was so feverish - but it was quite an experience playing Condemned at 3 a.m. while doped up on cold medicine.

I tend to always get a pimple or something on my nose or on my forehead when events like Thanksgiving comes around. Its like God is trying to teach me humility by use of a program but has it on loop. I get it already fucker! I shouldn't care what people think of me!

I just want to be able to taste my Mom's stuffing because it rocks.  Maybe I should freeze some to eat after this flu passes.

:/

Fortunately I don't remember any experiences where I had a horrible cold or flu around Thanksgiving. Though, I've been sneezing a lot today, I may be coming down with something but no outright sickness today :D

Like I said, it is fun to play video games when you're sick, so that's a bright side.  You get so focused on what you're doing, and if you're on cold medicine it's all a lucid dream just like Peetah said.

Yeah I have this curse too, I always tend to get some dumb zit somewhere on my face whenever I have some sort of event or holiday coming up... which is distinguished mentally-challenged because I have really good skin most of the time. :( :gloomy

Having good skin makes it even worse, makes the blemish more apparent. Yep, it sucks :/

Thats pretty much the reason. I've chilled out with it but theres probably some low level shit that still causes a reaction on my face.

I once played through ALL of Silent Hill 2 (for the first time, too) with a 102 degree fever raging.

WORST. IDEA. EVER. I swear, I have NEVER had nightmares that bad without some serious chemical damage.
