Looks like ass, mostly. Everything seems to be made of the same material, some weird plastic cement.
-
I expected Persona 4 until I saw who started this thread.
-
Honestly, Duckman, it looks no worse than R2.
-
Smooth, how does Stalker: Clear Sky DX10 look and run on your machine?

Well, for one, Resistance 2 shits all over this. And before anyone says "bu bu open world," keep in mind that it doesn't look like ass because of any lack of detail. If anything, it would probably benefit from being lighter on detail. It's just assy design, because Bethesda has some of the assiest designers in the business.

I can't be arsed but don't make me track down Morrowind screenshots.

I actually thought Oblivion's world was pretty well-done. Too bad the characters looked awful.
RPGOTY for now is The World Ends With You, it might change after I play through IU and Vesperia though.

Morrowind was from the days of PC Bethesda. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are Console Bethesda.

Forget about pedigree for a sec and just judge the shots. I think they've captured an apocalyptic atmosphere quite well.

According to Hardocp, DX10 mode runs pretty bad. From the screenshots, I didn't even think it look that good in DX10. I'm waiting for Maf's impressions before deciding to get it or not.

I have seen nothing that actually looks good about this game.
-
I'll concede that the chicks will probably be ugly in this game. Valve is like the only Western developer that can make a decent female 3d model.
-
I wanna play this because it's set where I live :o

ME has nice female characters. Put me at half mast a couple times.

BTW I think the art in FO3 is like, practically the game's only high point. Outside of a few questionable designs (giant super mutant, nuclear sling shot, and really, that's an issue with the designers, not the artists) they friggen nailed the look. It is exactly what I would imagine FO3 would look like in 3D.
-
this game looks so muddy.
-
Borys will you be buying the superior Xbox 360 version?
-
Persona 4?
-
Getting this on PC, now that my rig is uber.
-
I wish this game was just come out already. I'm tried of waiting for it!!

Same here. It should look quite nice in 1680x1050. Plus, there should be a ton of mods to play around with.

You should rebuy some of those games you have for the 360. Games like R6Vegas2 look so sweet at >720P with anti-aliasing on.

There's no editor. I think mods will be few and far between.

Well, it's not that surprising when age has turned even a legend like Frag into Strategamennon.
-
i think it looks great

The mods are going to make this game great.

Bethesda has always been really good about supporting the modding community and I don't think they'll just bail out completely with this one, but it may be a month or two before things start to happen.

Frag is like, the ultimate PC gamer tho. I dont know anyone else thats "beaten" DAoC and gets so much joy out of hex games.

"Fry, remember what I said about ending your stories a sentence earlier?" :lol
anyway, as scared as I am that this game will be mediocre or completely broken with serious glitches the first day on the PC, I'll have to wait a couple weeks for people to beta test it.

Bethesda's also been a PC developer until a couple years ago.
They said quite plainly that there is no editor, and there is no plan for an editor. One may appear somewhere down the line, but don't mark your calendar. Without an editor, I don't think you're going to see a huge mod scene.
