btw I am not really poo-pooing your list, it's an interesting list (and the one I pasted was in reply to it)

but I have to agree with Chris Sims when he says, how often are you actually going to read Little Orphan Annie?

I'd say the list is more "50 cool things probably missing from your comics collection" as opposed to "need to have" - you can have great collections with lots of breadth missing 4/5 of that list...

great list.  it's in line with much of what i consider essential and have had at some point, but have lost or sold somewhere along the way

but seriously, Little Orphan Annie is some good stuff.  I'd have suggested Thimble Theater instead.
