Ohhhh, that was Remedy? For some reason the Rockstar label had me thinking it was one of their internal teams. I didn't know that.

Well I'm excited now! I hope we get more lol-noir cartoons.

Rockstar? I don't think Rockstar is involved. MS is publishing this. You might be thinking of one of Rockstar's bullshit internal teams making Max Payne 3, and no doubt turning it into a perfectly serviceable, perfectly forgettable sequel to the two greatest third person shooters of all time.

The Depth of Field actually look like real Depth of Field. Not the "BUTTERY LENS LULZ" effect that most games use...

uhhhh Max Payne 2 didn't sell well.  Or at least it failed to meet expectations.  Sales is why R* pulled Remedy off the series.  To this day you can go into EB and find a new copy for PS2 or XBOX for $1.  Still a great game.

Max Payne 2 was so much better than Max Payne 1.  I still need to find my old boxed copy, but it is under a pile of rubble in my closet in another house.

again, i love mp2.  i may have played through it 7-8 times over the years.  but it was horridly short and the gfx looked dated.

if i remember right, remedy missed it's release date (lol) and the game shipped only on xbox and pc in december, then a couple weeks later on ps2.
