Title: Ils (Them) - Anyone see it?
Post by: Ecrofirt on October 05, 2008, 09:55:48 PM: I've heard that both this and The Strangers are good, but I haven't seen either.

Anyone seen Ils? How is it? I'm currently looking for a good copy of it online. We'll see how it goes, I suppose!

The Strangers has good portions and there are things that are done really well in it, but if you watch Ils first, The Strangers will be pretty terrible. They dumbed down a lot of good ideas from Ils. Both have their merits, but Ils is absolutely the superior film. It's fucking great.

Though I still kinda liked The Strangers, I felt like it was kinda disappointing and meaningless.
