Yes! Wrong forum!
Fuck yeah!
-
And so scared.
I'll move this.

N3's graphics were pretty good for that genre. Maybe they should give their engine to Koei.

That'd be sweet.

I don't think Q has made a bad game yet, which is why I'll be there Day One.
They did make a bad game, perhaps you have heard of it. It's called "Ninety-Nine Nights."
-
:lol
-
You can call me "green man" too, since NNN makes me upchuck massive amounts of vomit.

I liked N3 far, far more than what I played of the DW gundam demo. The natural combos, the not-fugly-by-PS2-standards graphics, and even the occasional strategy actually made it a good game. Not one I would ever get for full price though. I actually got the first one for free and I just rate it as above-average. Says a lot about the genre.

feel plus? wtf?
-
Yes, with the new feel plus (tm) system, you can feel even shittier than you did when you bought the original!!
-
I'll maybe bite on this one. I'm a sucker for Musou-y games, and the first NNN would have been perfectly fine if not for the annoying missions and the lack of save/check points. I think both of those problems can be easily overcome. Then again, this is a Japanese developer, and they have the tendency to not learn from their horrible, horrible mistakes, so I'll wait until Lyte Edge gives us impressions, since he'll definitely bite as there is guaranteed to be a giant tittied cleavage hero in this game.
-
Green, why would you think we'd be jumping for joy when the vast majority of the people who played N3 found it to be crap?

KNOPE. Unless there are favorable impressions before release, I'm not biting. I feel burned by both N3 and Kingdom Under Fire CoD, while we're at it. And Q? How do we know this won't have like two playable characters and then you have to purchase everything else via DLC? I haven't forgotten about Lumines either. :maf

Gotta start making some more sense with your responses.
-
Way to kill your own thread.
-
Then you post this elsewhere. This isn't working.
WOAH! A NEW N3 GAME? AWESOME.
Ive never even played the first game, only the demo which sucked because I lost every 5 seconds. Tiny enemy's that blend into the environment are such a bad idea.
And the squads were shit. HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM NOT SUCK?
-
Your internets!

I know I took a cheap shot at you (I was trying to be funny, btw, I dig you, duder), but I'm surprised you're basically uninterested, since I thought you were addicted to Musou clones more than me. I mean, you bit on Basara 2 even though the first was abysmal (worse than NNN, or at least similarly bad). Also, is Q really so bad with DLC? I have never noticed, not that I've been paying attention or anything.
On KUF:COD, I could have liked that game if the controls felt less sluggish and more responsive. That wasn't the ONLY problem of the game, but it's what kept me from enjoying it.

Basara 2 got a shit-ton of praise, that's why I got it. And it ROCKED. It is still my favorite out of all of these crowd-control 3D beat-em-up games. If N3 2 is the same, sure I'll check it out.
I may have gotten a lot of these games over the past few years, but really all I find I like the most are Capcom's Basara titles and Koei's Orochi games.
Also, is Q really so bad with DLC? I have never noticed, not that I've been paying attention or anything.
That was me taking a cheap shot at Q. With Lumines Live, they basically gave you part of the game for 800 points and then made you pay more cash for additional "add-on packs" if you wanted what was essentially the entire game. The backlash against them was pretty big at the time.
On KUF:COD, I could have liked that game if the controls felt less sluggish and more responsive. That wasn't the ONLY problem of the game, but it's what kept me from enjoying it.
I was pretty disappointed with this. The level design was ultra-bland as well.

What has Feel Plus done aside from LO?
-
This is like getting excited over Lair 2.
NNN is terrible.
-
NNN was pretty ass, but I own it cause its pretty, but I never play it. Better musou games are out there that many of you havent played, avoid NNN
-
Hell, even the Drakengard games are masterworks compared to NNN.
-
As someone with little to now experience with musuo games i bought and enjoyed this game. Plus it had that sexy intro movie.
-
Yeah well look at your avatar. So sad. Worship more.

Pretty sure they helped out with IU
-
drakengard had a nice story, characters and music but the gameplay is very flawed, same for the sequel.
-
The first game at least had very solid controls but they definitely need to let you play the missions as "anybody". I hated how you would replay the same area from 2-3 different perspectives. It was different missions and different enemies but still made the game feel bland and shorter. It would also be nice if the different weapons were tailored to different strategies rather than just upgrades.
-
feel+ used to be cavia, i think, and they made DRAKENGARD OMGGGGGGG
Oh man, bring back Phantagram, PLEASE. I'm sorry I hated! :'(
