Title: blue dragon is an anime now?

dunno, they did a disgaea anime too which followed the first game pretty close

Its been for a while now, went to 51 episodes and a new Season in Japan.

Looked lame to me still.

It's pretty dry and lame. I've never seen Toriyama character designs in something so dry.

I'd have to have (a) watched enough of the series and (b) played the game to answer that, so I'll leave the answer to someone who is invested in the franchise.
