Blame the one-hit wonder (http://www.evilbore.com/forum/index.php?topic=25605.0) thread for forcing me down this particular rabbit hole.

So, about ten years ago, there was a Eurodance novelty act by the name of Dr. Bombay.

The Swedish singer, Jonny Jakobsen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonny_Jakobsen), was as white as the driven snow. But as faux-Indian Dr. Bombay, he wore a turban and Euro-rapped like an accented motherfucker. His two big hits were:

After his album came out and made people laugh but failed to chart, I figured this was the last we'd see of him. BUT NO! Instead he just changed the target of his racialist songcraft. Enter: Dr. Macdoo, faux-Scottish Eurotrancer, with "Under the Kilt."

Dr. Macdoo failed to catch on, so Jakobsen now has a faux-Mexican persona, Carlito, who as far as I can tell is only being released in Japan (http://carlito.jp) (and Sweden).

And is he just making guttural noises in Under the Kilt?  awesome, if so.

Never heard of this guy, but eurodance + ethnic stereotypes sounds like the greatest thing ever for me. I'll have to check out the videos when I'm home from work.

so i did

i blacked out

and i found myself, naked and stranded, my ass covered in glitter and a glow stick firmly lodged in my rectum

I had Russkij Pusskij stuck in my head for three days straight. In fact, two nights ago I had trouble falling asleep because I couldn't get it out of my mind.  :'(
