So basically, i want a normal word processor where i save and access from my HDD, basically a normal offline stuff....except any changes/additional files/etc are automatically synced. Is there aything like that? Thanks.

Google Docs has offline support. I'm not super familiar with the offline support aspect, but I'm sure you can find more info easily enough. It works with syncing for me. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to it so I don't know the exact mechanism.

i dont need nothing fancy.
my main concern is that, say, the internet connection suddenly goes off or is absent in the first place....i can still access all of my docs, right? because keeping them in my HDD [just like in a desktop-based word processor] takes priority over syncing them

Yes, that is correct. I have to say, however, that I have no experience with losing or gaining an internet connection at the same time as modifying my stuff, so I dunno what the behavior is there.

Just send a private message to yourself!

and while we're at it....
how about the same for music files
edit: thanks for the help, much appreciated.

I just throw 'em on an FTP and use OpenTape to manage/share 'em:

thanks for link but that requires i maintain a webserver, according to

Note: To proceed, you need a web server with FTP access and know how to upload files, and change folder permissions on it.
