Paul Krugman, Princeton professor, New York Times columnist and bearded Keynesian, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics today.
I know jack-all about his academic work (something about comparative advantage?) but he has been the most consistent, prominent, no-BS voice of criticism towards George W. Bush since the campaign in 2000. He took a lot of crap for saying eight years ago what is basically conventional wisdom now.
Good on ya, Krugman.
edit: Since when does this forum move fast enough that topics fall to the second page without me seeing them?
