Its mainly due to the psp3000 launch but Phantasy Star Portable and Monster Hunter are still selling something (according to the top 30)

It was more of showing SCEJ being distinguished mentally-challenged fellows with the PS3 but the thread transformed to sales due to it being related and a Wii "non game" topping the charts.

There was actually a segment on the 360's 'resurgence' vs PS3 and Xbox 1 on the evening news a few nights ago (here in Japan). It was quite surreal to watch. They pretty much nailed it too - they said that neither are doing remotely well but the 360 is currently much more in tune with J-gamer's tastes, and it's cheaper.

Not bad at all. X360 Culdcept was around 35k first weekend?
Groo did you end up picking the game up? If it's faster paced than the X360 one & portable & bug-free that sounds like a winner.

Ehh, should have put it on PSP. The PSP Gundam/Macross games have at least been doing around 50k+
