Quick question (save the guffaws about my usage of IE6 for later, please :D):
You know how, if you have multiple windows open with different pages loading, and you click between windows, the browser will automatically switch back to the window that just finished loading, or that is loading some sort of active content? In other words, even if you're in another window (maximized), it will switch to the page that just finished loading even if you had it minimized. It seems to happen most with sites that are ad-heavy or have active content (flash etc.), myspace especially. Does anyone know how to correct this? Is it a browser setting?
I know that IE7 most likely doesn't do this (or at least I haven't noticed it at work), and I'll probably change browsers soon anyway to IE7 or Chrome, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

I should also note that this issue has come and gone for me over the years, and I'm not sure what is being changed to make it stop occurring. As recently as earlier today it wasn't happening, but now it is. I had an unexpected reboot earlier which I'm pretty sure wiped out my cookies, so it may have affected some other browser settings as well. Prior to today I hadn't experienced this issue for at least a year or so.

Imagine you're looking at porn and the door starts to open / someone is walking in, you quickly hit Alt + Tab to get to another "Safe" window, but the porn finishes loading and pops back up...
awkward!
Then you look down and realise you've still got it out of your pants too! :-[
Is this nightmare scenario not enough to make you upgrade?
ps. pre-tab IE used to do this to me too, I don't know why it does it or how to turn it off
