I saw that over at GAF, are they concept designs or the real deal?

Also, that Mountain Dew design looks like Kroger's knockoff Mountain Dew that they sell at QFC and Fred Meyer in Washington state.

They are definitely real. They're smilies, way better than their previous logo, the old wave was so boring.

Funny. There was apparently this picture made a while back showing how Mountain Dew's logo has became more and more tilted to the left, skewed, and spiky, and it had "projected logos" that were practically flat lines of razor wire. And now they've bucked that!

It also reminds me of this, from a "MAKE CORPORATE LOGOS INTO WEB 2.0" competition from years ago:

I feel the same way. They should at least standardize the logo across the drinks. It's almost confusing.
