I was starting to feel better about being single too, but then I realized that about half of the single men in Orlando are probably gay and wouldn't count as competition.  :-\

One of the main reasons why it seems like there are so few single women is because 35+ year old men usually go after the 20-25 year old women, in effect 'stealing' them from guys around our age, instead of going for women their own age.

It looks like a version of this (http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/ideas/articles/2008/03/30/a_singles_map_of_the_united_states_of_america/), with all the dots turned to male ones.  If you look at the quote pointing to NY you can see someone definitely edited it.

The west coast dots are all female-deficient, though.  So you're screwed anyhow.

His is for the 20-34 age range... I'm sure there are probably a lot of female singles out in the big metro areas, but think Sex In The City style 40 year old cougars.

Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti...eh. Lots of colleges around here which means lots of single chicks to fuck. Just none for me apparently  :'(
