At first I was like... uhh, this is the Vista toolbar.
But then I scrolled down.
Good, but still, do I really want to switch from XP for that?
-
Judging by some of the things said about windows 7's speed (even this early) I would say yes.

i approve of this screenshot

not sure if want. I guess I could get away with another year and a half of XP...I'm assuming one of Window 7s big draws will be DX12? That'd be reason enough...skip Vista altogether.
-
DX11 i think.
-
so they will charge 100 bux for just the OEM version for what is essentially Vista with a facelift.
ALlegedly apple-"influenced"
Great job, MS. Between this and your super-expensive incrementally-updated not-backwardscompatible MS Office suit, you are indeed my fav IT company.
-
I will need a new desktop in a year anyways. This will coincide nicely.
-
DX11 i think.
More like, DX11 2.0 which will be bundled and only compatible with Halo 4 lolersnaps
I still dislike the look of the start menu. The pretty transparency effect with the plain ol' white backdrop seem to clash. I don't want them to choose something that'll make it more difficult to read the items in that area but a better color pallet should be in order.
-
That does look nice
-
smh @ Windows users that think their OS is sexy.
I think I'll keep my Windows Classic theme in XP. It works and doesn't take up much room.

right, now I remember them announcing some DX11.5 or some shit. hmmm...5 more years with XP? sure, why not.

Well, if most of the Vista problems are fixed (the outrageous use of memory for no fucking reason) then I will be interested.

lol windows
