Need some suggestions. I haven't considered much:
David Bowie - Scary Monsters
John Cale - Heartbreak Hotel
The Beatles - Helter Skelter (I am Charles Manson for Halloween, so this one is concrete)
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Depeche Mode - Strangelove
The Chameleons - Swamp Thing
As much as I'd like to just make a playlist of Bauhaus, The Birthday Party and The Sisters of Mercy, interspersed with tracks from The Resident's Commercial Album (I still may do this if the final list is thin), I'm looking to use this at party over the weekend, so I need stuff suitable for mass consumption. I'd like to avoid the extremely obvious (Thriller, Werewolves of London, the Ghostbusters theme) unless it's particularly creative.
Post yer own so I can steal it.

I need to put together a CD, but

the opposite of this. Up tempo pop stuff. Hopefully well known. If I could loop Thriller for an hour I would.
So far I've got the exact same three RoboJ listed, plus Spooky and Werewolf Bar Mitzvah. Help me out!

Stevie Wonder's Superstition? INXS's Devil Inside might work too, and I think I'll use that one as well.
-
Oooh, Superstitious is a good one. Definitely going to use that.
Might throw in Bad Moon Rising by CCR and Put A Spell On You by Screaming Jay Hawkins. There's a real dearth of Halloween novelty pop songs out there.

Goddammit, this is important!

Fear not the wild and homeless souls, while Father Mike has two assholes.

Gary Numan - Are Friends Electric

I was considering Numan, but he's a step short of the level of accessibility I'm looking for.

What about the Ghostbusters theme?
Rob Zombie/White Zombie is pretty creepy.
Ecro and I are playing spooky metal tonight on his radio show.

So far we've played The Axis of Perdition, Xasthur, and some other cool stuff. Spooky metal works for Halloween!
