Finally got it today.
Maf and Prole, you might wanna double dip because the PC version runs really well and automatically detects the 360 controller.
By default, the game runs at 30fps but you can unlock it. Dead Space might be designed for 30fps though. The action seems almost too fast at 60fps so I might just stick to 30 fps.

i read complaints their is input lag if you enable vsync in the game options
and that you should force it using your control panel or whatever
-
It's not really input lag. The game just feels kinda sluggish with a mouse unless you unlocked the framerate to run at 60fps.
Game plays fine with a 360 controller at either 30 or 60 fps.
Here's a cap that I took at >1080P glory. For some reason, there's still quite a bit of jaggies even with the high rez and AA enabled. I'm guessing it's due to to the lighting methods that the game uses.

Yesssssss! The PC version is excellent.
Here are some vids I made and posted in the other thread in case anyone missed PC's superior graphics (note: probably the same as console's).
Start of chapter 2 where you get Kinesis and can rape the poor woman with a bandage over her eyes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX12L1Vk86Y&fmt=18
Little bit after the start of chapter 2 where you run into the guy who gets killed in the lab: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuRdBOW1x10&fmt=18
After the lab part where you run into the random zombie guy banging his head against the wall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R59_T4ropGU&fmt=18

Are the mouse\keyboard controls really bad?

Doesn't look like it'd warrant a double dip

It's a bit iffy but I've gotten used to it. For example, let's say you want to walk forward and strafe right. If you try to move the camera when you do that it's slow as hell. If you're just walking in one direction it's fine. Also, when you're standing still the camera moves even faster. When you're aiming, aiming is slow as hell.
Fast being a higher sensitivity and slow being a lower sensitivity. I've tried changing the mouse sensitivity in the options but it had no real effect on these problems.

The main draw is being able to play at 60fps. If you don't care about that, then the console versions are probably sufficient. PC version looks nice enough but it doesn't seem to feature any additional graphical features over the console versions except for higher resolutions and AA.

PC makes Demi cry like a baby 'cause it's basically the best 360 available.
