I've known of Hank Williams III for a long time, he's part of Superjoint Ritual w/ Phil Anselmo, played with EyeHateGod, and of course if Hank SR, and Jr's descendent. But I've never listened to his solo stuff before. It's actually pretty fucking cool. It's like Country Punk Rock w/ some metal type verses. It's cool shit.

Don't mind the GG Allin videos. :lol It's not an official video, someone put it together, decent job IMO. But Jesus GG was fucked up.
Any new groups or genres you guys are digging lately?

This one chiptune group YMCK. I've been searching for a decent chiptune group since I haven't been too involved with the genre (I always like to find weird new genres.) They seem to be the "purest" chiptune group out there, sticking to minimal processing and effects on the nintendo sounds (aside from this one really random techno track at the beginning of one of their albums.) I normally listen to pretty low key stuff, but this is super sweet and poppy...like prozac, it'll either cheer you up immensely or give you suicidal thoughts. Think Katamari (i think they may have been on the first game's OST.)

If anyone knows of a chiptune group that doesn't rap or put amen breakbeats to their music, please let me know :)

Hank Williams III is a disgrace to the name.

I "tried" the new 9mm Parabellum Bullet album "Vampire" that came out a few weeks ago and it's solid if you like j-rock with a heavy punk influence. Mainly gave them a listen because I thought I was going to see them live, but then the show sold out, so boooo. Album was still worth a listen, though.

Also just picked up Kavinsky - 1986 EP. Not usually into 80s electronic/dance music, but I love this.

I've also been listening to she (thanks to Groo), and murr*murr (also thanks to Groo), but I've been rocking the Jay-Z and Coldplay mash-up Viva La Hova (vivalahova.com has download links) and Flying Lotus constantly. I look like a jackass when I'm wearing headphones and listening to Flying Lotus. Also new to me (but not new at all in genre, they sound a lot like Explosions in the Sky, imo) is God is an Astronaut.
I completely agree that Does It Offend You, Yeah? is AMAZING in concert. Saw them at Summer Sonic 08. Justice is even better in concert. Totally ridiculous hour-plus set. Awesome.

I recently discovered King Crimson and prob one of my new favorite songs of all time:

Oh is that good? I was tempted, but didn't want to go completely silly this past week :)
It's okay. It starts off really good, which is when I posted the above, but then dips into the unremarkable for around 3/4 of the album. As jazzy Japanese DJs go, I like Nujabes far more. Also, Flying Lotus is similar in style but far far better.

Methodis, this is the best KC song.
