I've been playing at my local arcade--Chinatown Fair in NYC. It's awesome. The new characters fit in really well. It's nice to see crowds huddling over the Japanese style cabs, reminded me of 1992 during the beginning of the Street Fighter 2:WW craze.
-
I played it at the arcade and it's dope. I can't wait for the home release. I like it more than 3S. Then again, I think 3S is overrated.
-
I actually prefer just going to the arcade. It's not the same at home, even with sticks. Too bad the arcade scene isn't healthy over here. I would love to use those character cards over here that records you win/loss records and character customizations.
-
the arcade scene is alright in houston, but the fighting game scene is competitive as shit. Unless you're like, a total pro player, it's hard to make any ground at all so I prefer playing home versions, especially since the home version will include online!
-
CTF is so awesome, I love how it's in some dank basement with a few fans and zero ambiance whatsoever. Definitely nails that whole "underground" aspect.
-
Played this in arcades, I was absolute shit at it, but maybe this will be the game I buy my first arcade stick for when it hits consoles.
-
Dan is the spokesman for the No on 8 group in CA.

It's very fighter heavy just to let you know, along with the common arcade standbys, the pacmans, arcade shooters, and some racing cabs.

CAMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I saw a clip of this on Xplay and it looks insane. I haven't bought a fighting game in over 5 years but I'm gonna buy this. Trippy.
-
i guess it went from sf2 3d to sfa3 3d.
hopefully they'll get to sf4 3d at one point.
-
I thought Gen died or something?
Yeah wow you're right.
Capcom just fucked SF continuity.
Goddamn, is nothing sacred anymore.
-
Cammy...AND GEN?!?!
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
It's funny how pretty much all the home version characters revealed are the ones I like to use.
-
Wow Sakura and Cammy are in it. :bow2
Must buy.
-
The second picture confirms that Gouken will be playable too.

I'm importing the PS3 version and getting the 360 domestic release when that comes out. :D
-
Oh yeah, no doubt I will be double-dipping and getting whichever region comes out first on at least one platform. Might even triple-dip if I happen to have a capable PC at the time. :D
But right now I am psyched for Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom! NEXT MONTH! Viewtiful Joe's gonna kick some ass!!
-
I'm glad Sakura doesn't look like a pre-pubescent boy like she does in the official art
-
WOW. haven't been looking at lots of pics or video for this game, but it's lookin' real nice. almost makes up for no Makoto.
-
Put these characters in the arcade! Stupid home-exclusive stuff...
-
Is Makoto in this?
-
Haters really got owned on this one. Looks awesome.

I think they will. It would just be too weird for them not to; seems like not doing it would kill the game. But I will laugh my ass off if all the grey-market imported cabs in the U.S. can't be updated should this happen. :rofl

Please give impressions on TvC when you get it. :)

It plays pretty nicely, too... I was completely unfamiliar with the new system they put in to replace parrying, but it's smooth as butter. My friend, who is a hardcore 2D fighter fan who was pretty miffed about SF4's graphical direction, was extremely impressed with the game when we played it at CTF.
I can't wait for the home version, will def. be getting this on 360 though because of online.

it seems like Rose is in as well if this pic is legit.
-
Yay. Another dead character.
Charlie/Nash up next.
-
I'd still really like to see some new characters. Oh well, expanding the roster list by 50% is still impressive.
