i just met up with a girl i spent a whole evening and night walking/talking/making out with, about nine months ago. she seriously didn't remember ever having seen me at all. granted she was kind of drunk, and I don't hold it against her, but bleh. she was more attractive than i remembered, too.

Might not be your fault. She might just be a drug addict or alcoholic. I am sure if I spent a night with you, I'd find it very memorable. I'm sure you'd spend a lot of time rambling and it would freak me out and you would make me paranoid of weirdo serial killers for the rest of my life. I'd go so far as to say that the fact that she doesn't remember you is probably in the "pro" column when considering your chances of banging her.

she definitely wasn't feigning, or if she was she was doing it in a really strange way. when I approached her she asked "do I KNOW you?", not in a sarcastic or dismissive tone like you'd expect but with a genuinely baffled and bewildered tone and expression. (I answered "I guess not") and then she asked to see what I was writing, complained about my handwriting, went and got a candle so she could read it, spent a while looking at it and then just stared at me and asked "why did you write this?" at which point I apologized and left. so, I dunno.

I've got you beat. I was briefly seeing this dame until she dropped off the grid a couple of weeks ago. We're talking no phone communication, messages, etc.
She calls me out of the blue to tell me that she's actually a lesbian and was trying to see if she could "shake it off" with me, but fell for a girl in our brief flirty/development stage. Now she's fully committed to women. I was the last hope for our gender and I failed miserably. :'(

No, I don't date Jewish women. It's a rule.
Especially after I lived in Hollywood. My downstairs neighbor tried everything in her power to get me to sleep with her, and while sporting a nice pair of jumblies, I was seeing someone and she was a total headcase. Her actions pretty much cemented in my mind that I will never date JAPs (Jewish American Princesses).

Jewish women usually have at least one therapist and were totally spoiled in the upbringing. You will find some sexy JAPs, for sure, but the baggage that comes along with that is too much.
Not to mention that I already have one neurotic, New York-based Jewish family - I do not need another. Mine is enough work already.

I'm not, because I'm fortunate enough that my parents split when I was a tyke and my father was fractured from his family until recently. But it's a vicious cycle. You're constantly criticized in a large family that's constantly looking for acceptance, while older Hebrews are constantly in fear of some horrible calamity in the near future (to their credit, they've gone through slavery, persecution, Holocaust, etc.). It creates an epicenter of neurosis, where all members of the tribe are never emotionally fulfilled, have guilt issues, etc.
No amount of gold and bagels can ever fill the emotional void in a Jew's heart.
This is mostly an East Coast phenomenon, though. Basically, you can blame the refugees from the Holocaust for starting this.

recursivelyenumerable is right; he was totally unmemorable. A drugged-out alcoholic suffering from retrograde amnesia would remember talking to and making out with Brad Pitt, even if she was extremely wasted and a long period of time had elapsed since.

I'll never date a Jewish girl either...my parents always tell me to look for girls on j(ewish)-date.com. I know of a guy who dated a pretty high maintenance chick from that site. They dated for about a year, then got married. The marriage lasted 2 weeks because she went bat shit insane all of a sudden. :lol
