itagaki will save us from qte shitfests like bayonetta. just give him time.
btw congrats on finally bowing down to the current champion of action games.
Ninja Gaiden II is to Ninja Gaiden as Dead or Alive 3 and 4 are to Dead or Alive 2.
That is: the core gameplay is pretty similar, and it's a bit faster, and you have more options, but everything seems less controlled and precise and more random. Through all the movement and the combat, I never felt like I was in control the same way I did in the first one.
On the other hand, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction you get when you reduce an enemy group's numbers from eight to four in a matter of seconds by lopping off a few limbs, then finishing off all your wounded opponents in rapid succession.
devil may cry 4 :bow2
fuck this shit! Back to NG Black :lol
I didn't think the projectiles were bad on Warrior, but Mentor is another story. really lazy way to add difficulty to the game. gg itagaki
Bayonetta > DMC3 > DMC1 > DMC4 > DMC2 > NG1 > NG DS > Barbie DS > Ninja Blade > NG2barbie ds
fuck this shit! Back to NG Black :lol

y2kev is in denial.
then you will finally see his brilliance as i have and prostate before his games
NG2 was fun. The only problem I think was that the dismemberment system made some weapons unbalanced against certain enemies.
The tonfas are actually pretty cool in that they have this roll move that allows you to cancel out of most combos. So if you have a hard on for that DMC hey look I can do the same 3 moves 100 times in a row combo system, have at it.
Eh. That's what a combo is. Specific input, specific action. Depth happens outside a combo system, in the back and forth between the player and the enemy. That's what Ninja Gaiden used to be about. Now it's about red motherfuckers with claws on their hands who throw eighteen exploding shuriken at a time. The tonfas are actually pretty cool in that they have this roll move that allows you to cancel out of most combos. yeah but i just wish the combos were deeper than variations of xxxxxxxxxxxxy/xyxxxx...etc etc

I bought NG2 last weekend, beat it this past weekend, and have many of the same complaints regarding bosses as others. Specifically, how so many forced you to rely on the bow. I also didn't like how one could grab hold of you, chomp your life down to squat, take forever to do it, and there was nothing you could do to stop it. Sure, take my health to the floor, but be quick about it. :maf
Anyway, I'm replaying it again now. I like the overall game, but I agree that the last Ninja Gaiden was better.
All which had to be killed with the bow and arrow. That was more frustrating than anything in either game.I bought NG2 last weekend, beat it this past weekend, and have many of the same complaints regarding bosses as others. Then again, NG1 made me go up against two tanks, a helicopter, and a tower all in a row.
