It's at that point in the semester where I'm basically in front of a PC any time I'm not walking or in class. I use eye drops and tylenol like twice a day, but it's wearing on me...I usually only have this for a few weeks a semester, but shit's crazy and I have another 6 weeks of this to go :(
what do you guys (who are on PCs a lot) do to beat eye dryness, general fatigue, eye strain etc.?
-
By not being an inferior human being, that's how.

My left eye feels so dry, I should get some drops. Between browsing and homework I spend too much time on the computer. Once WoW re-enters the frame...good lord

How do you survive NOT being on a PC every waking hour?
-
By manning up.

I will try this "manning up" and "smh"

what kind of eye drops do you use? for frequent use to relieve chronic eyestrain you want a "natural tear formula", the redness removers in other kinds will actually make your eyes drier over time. Refresh Tears are good (but expensive). I use them 5-10 times a day.

sleep.

I have some walgreen's brand called "Artificial Tears." Sounds like the name of some cheesy sci-fi book about androids. and oh yeah, they are pretty good.

Anyone wear glasses? I'm up for a new pair and am considering getting anti-glare lenses since I'm in front of a PC for so long every day. Does that help with eye strain at all?
-
Turning the brightness down on your monitor will make it easier on your eyes too.
-
LCDs made it a lot better.

My eyes, every few months, seem to get really get fucking irritated. My treatment plan involves a pretty big amount (like ounces) of ganja over a couple day period while not looking at any screen during that timespan, and it works for me.

Somewhere there are people working in mines and shit and you whine about sitting infront of a pc.
SMH
it's the mental mines, yo.

If I'm not in front of a PC, I yawn incessantly.

Fuck my eyes.. I long ago resigned myself to the fact that video games and constantly working with VDUs would fuck my eyesight.
My neck worries me though! And my shitty posture. Because its always late here when America wakes up, I'm on the internet quite late. I goto bed, look at a forum, or put something on to watch, and I'll be sort of twisting my neck to look at the laptop screen from my bed. As a result I now seem to have this cracking in my neck.. I'd put the thing on my lap as surely intended but I hate how hot/warm these things get when the vents / fans are all go. I feel like buying an old school breakfast tray to put the thing on... is there anything specifically designed for that kind of thing?
