Title: I'm off for a two week vacation

:hyper One week in New York, one week in Miami. :hyper

Should I go to the Guggenheim? Is there anything worthwhile to see in Miami?

I've only been to Miami during WMC season... which is fucking GREAT if you're into dance music, clubs, partying... but right now, I don't think there's too much going on. Eat Cuban food, avoid any other kind of food, walk around SoBe, hang out at the beach.

To be honest, even though I live near I have never been to the Guggenheim  :-\ MoMA, the Met, Museum of Natural History are all recommended though.

i am in utter sticker shock over the cost of musuems here in nyc.

$20 a pop.  absolutely amazing.  but then i came from DC, so i have probably been spoiled.

i'm going to get a membership to MoMA because it's a year for $75 which includes unlimited entry and unlimited film screenings for free.  as the screenings are typically $10, and there are already several I want to see in the next month and a half, I think that this will be one hell of a bargain
