Title: Most Depressing Death Cab for Cutie Song
Post by: MrAngryFace on November 14, 2008, 06:08:02 PM
It's a tie between What Sarah Said and Bixby Canyon Bridge I think. What the fuck. Dont listen to those songs while drinking heavily.

The new album was complete shit. Except Long Divison, which is ok.

I agree. It's very disappointing considering how awesome Plans was. :'(

Wow, I can't believe I fucking missed this thread, being the Death caboholic here.

I like the new album, but I agree, Plans was better and Transatlanticism was fucking phenomenal IMO. The only three tracks I listen to on Narrow Stairs are I Will Possess Your Heart, Pity and Fear, and Cath..., which is a throwback song in style if I ever heard one.

Favorite Death Cab song? Without a doubt, We Looked Like Giants. It could probably be a qualifier for most depressing Death Cab song too, although I think What Sarah Said pretty much wins that contest.

What's most depressing re: Death Cab for Cutie is the fact that they exist in the same universe as I do.

I think Cath is one of their better songs. Very wistful.
