after like two hours of use it stopped responding out of the blue
whenever i try to press buttons with it i only get the four blue LEDs flickering, and pressing the buttons to re-sync it with the unit (both on the remote itself and on the console) changes nothing... and i tried brand new AA batteries too
the controller didn't went through any shock either... what could be wrong, could this remote already be broken? so much for quality Nintendo hardware then

Sometimes it goes to sleep. You press a button and 4 led lights flick, then you use it again. Don't know what the problem is.
My problem is that when playing Wiisports on Thanksgiving I accidently hit one of my Wiimotes on the door and the battery broke off. The controller works perfectly...but I gotta replace that battery cover.

hahah, I was wondering how many different things people would hit when playing the Wii, and how many controllers would get owned ;)
-
haha, jotaro broke his wiimote :lol
-
Did you guys see that Gamevideos thing yesterday? They tried to break a Wiimote by doing various things to it. It was pretty amusing, and it did in fact survive a toss at the wall.
-
haha, jotaro broke his wiimote :lol
i broke nothing, silly
anyhow apparently you need to unplug the console and re-power it on, and it works... seems to be a Bluetooth problem... it worked, yah!
happened to a guy on OA too
wtf this is gay, hope Nintendo fixes this, I don't want my controller to randomly go off out of the blue amidst a tense game session
-
Jotaro what games are you playing on it?
-
nothing much yet, but once i get component cables im going to rent stuff
going rentals-only for gaming
