I was hoping the game was more structured like Amped 2 which still plays and looks great but it's not. It has a GTA mission structure and mandatory coin collecting to open new abilities. Think I'll pass for now.

It seems like a rushed pos. I know Target had something to with this and even some of the people at work were a bit bummed out. I went from :o to :-\ about this game. I wish Target would have given Ubisoft till december to deliver the goods, or at least a better frame rate. I'll continue to wait for my true Amped 2 sequel.

I will give it some more play time to gather a better impression of it. But with the short time I had with Shaun White I'm just bummed more than stoked. Talk about under delivering on such hype (for those of us interested in snowboarding games) for this game.

Pure is the closes thing to that.

Also Stoked is coming from Microsoft at some point which should be the new Amped.

I've never been very interested in ATV games, but Pure rips so much from SSX that I find it quite enjoyable. Hopefully you'll get something out of it.

i also like the ATV building. you can make some fucking awesome ATVs for each type of event - one with really good jumping skills for tricks, one with good acceleration & control for sprints, one with a massive engine for races. half the fun for me is making new vehicles and seeing how much better I get at events

Probably just going to rent it, so not too big of a loss either way. :)

I just hope it matches the overall feeling of SSX, which is kind of hard to put a finger on.

I really like this aspect too and spend a lot of time playing around to get better times on the track. The only thing I'd like to see is that when you acquire an upgrade (like +1 or +2) you get a choice to apply it to all ATVs that have that part. It's a little cumbersome to go through each vehicle and upgrade manually.

If there is a James May style character I'd be interested in watching. Hammond and Jeremy are still great, but my man James can take them both.

I must admit, it got a little better as season one went on, but if I miss an episode I really don't care (as opposed to missing Top Gear UK which is unthinkable). Hopefully it breaks out into more its own style in future.

I think it's a cool track but their camera angles and the way they cover it needs work. I think the camera angles they use week-to-week change which means you have a hard time getting used to it.
